# KPI

A key performance indicator (KPI) is a measurable value that demonstrates how effectively the chatbot is achieving key business objectives.

You can establish a KPI by defining specific parameters such as tags, tag names, and tag descriptions. Additionally, you have the flexibility to specify tag value types, including integers, decimals, and strings, to accurately measure and assess bot performance against your defined goals.
